    Farah Khan honoured with Faten Hamama Award for excellence in cinema at CIFF

    Multi-talented Indian film director, film producer, actress and choreographer Farah khan has been honoured with "Faten hamama Excellence Award " for (Excellence in indian cinema) at the on going 37th Cairo International Film fest (CIFF).

    She is best known for her choreography in numerous Bollywood films and work on Superhit films Om Shanti Om (2007), Mai hoon Na (2004) and Happy new Year (2014) Starring Shah Rukh Khan. She also has worked on international project such as Marigold : An adventure in India, Monsoon wedding and the cinema Perhaps love.

    Farah was given warm welcome by her Egyptian fans and Bollywood lovers. She said "I have three childrens and I came here and I think that action is better than words." 


    "I wish that the movies could be screened in India because there is a great similarities between the two countries." Farah said when asked about Egyptian cinema.

    She further added "It is a great honour for me here," She is very Happy to be honoured with the Faten Hamama Award for excellence in cinema at the CIFF"

    She is preparing for her new Movie Power girls and she also picked pic with all the women in the conference. She says " I am happy to see this large number of women in the hall (conference), You all are Power women"

    The 37th edition of the Cairo International Film Festival will be come to a close on November 20th.
