Karan Johar announced his next movie Ae Dil Hai Mushkil a couple of months ago, which is rumored to be a remake of Doosra Aadmi (1977 film starring Rishi Kapoor, Neetu Singh and Rakhee). Ae Dil Hai Mushkil will star Aishwarya Rai in lead role for the first time in Karan Johar's Film. It will also star Ranbir Kapoor & Anushka Sharma.
So, it means the year 2016 is going to be the year of big clashes, after news of Salman Khan’s Sultan clashing with SRK’s Raees on Eid 2016, now Ranbir Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai's ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ is all set to clash with Ajay Devgn’s ‘Shivaay’ on Diwali 2016.
Karan Johar confirmed the news by tweeting "My next directorial film #Aedilhaimushkil starring Ranbir,Anushka and Aishwariya will release Diwali 2016...@AeDilHaiMushkil @foxstarhindi".
