Kannada mystery thriller movie RangiTaranga (Colorful wave) opened with positive reviews from the critics. The small budget film has turned out a big hit in Kannada & good south films always gets attention of Bollywood filmmakers. Now it looks like RangiTaranga is all set to join the list of Bollywood remakes.
Rumours are that there is a good demand of remake rights of film. Reportedly leading filmmaker "Lagaan" & "Jodha Akbar" fame Ashutosh Gowariker has expressed his interest in the project & even he has also begun to talk to makers over this matter. However, the director has refused to open up about the matter at this stage.
RangiTaranga is rates 9.5/10 on IMDB & is written and directed by Anup Bhandari and produced by H. K. Prakash. It features debutantes Nirup Bhandari, Avantika Shetty and Radhika Chethan, and Saikumar in lead roles.
