Farhan Akhtar Sings Duet with Big B for Wajir titled 'Atrangi Yaari'

Wajir Co-stars Amitabh Bachchan And Farhan Akhtar on wednesday recorded a special song together titled "Atrangi yaari" for their upcoming film Wazir.

Actor-Director Farhan who has previously sung in films like 'Rock On','Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara','Dil Dhadakne do'.  He says it was a “wonderful” experience recording a duet titled “Atrangi Yaari” hinging on the bond of friendship with his “Wazir” co-star Amitabh Bachchan.

“Atrangi yaari”, which forms the crux of the Bejoy Nambiar directorial, depicts the unusual friendship between the characters played by Amitabh and Farhan.

Shortly after recording the song, the 73-year-old superstar Bachchan uploaded a few pictures of the studio session on his blog, captioning the same as "song recording for Wazir".

The two multi-faceted actors can be seen having fun while recording the track. Farhan is also seen holding a guitar while singing. Producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra found the perfect song that would describe the relationship which actors Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar's characters, Panditji and Danish respectively, share in the Bejoy Nambiar-directed Wazir.

Big B, who is currently shooting for Sujoy Ghosh’s Te3n in Kolkata, was asked to come for the song recording on an urgent basis.

Wazir will release on January 8 and is the first big release of 2016. The film co-stars Aditi Rao Hydari, Neil Nitin Mukesh and John Abraham in supporting roles. The first two songs of the film, Tere Bin and Tu Mere Paas have received a great response from the audience already. Looks like Atrangi Yaari too will hit everyone’s atrangi andaaz once it releases.
