Son of Sardaar 2 was meant to star Sanjat Dutt instead of Ajay Devgan

Upcoming film Son of Sardaar 2 stars Ajay Devgan, but what we found today is a different story! Actually the film is based on the 'Battle Of Saragarhi', and was originally supposed to made with Sanjay Dutt as leading actor.

"Film was originally supposed to be produced by Sanjay Dutt's buddy Bunty Walia and directed by Rohit Jugraj and they thought Sanjay would be perfect fit for the role, but then Sanju baba went to jail and was out of the project. Rather than waiting for release of Sanjay Dutt, makers felt Ajay Devgan would be the right person to play the role", Says a source.

Apparently, the role requires the protagonist to be fighting-fit. "It would've taken Sanjay Dutt months and months of physical training to get into shape for this role. It was therefore felt it was better to replace Dutt with Devgn," says the source.
