Nana Patekar to direct a female-centric biopic

Nana Patekar is famous for his acting and outstanding performance in any character, he will be seen in Anees Bazmee's comedy-sequel Welcome Back. And another news is that Nana is going to direct a biopic and also there are also rumors that Nana might direct the third installment of crime drama Ab Tak Chhappan.

Nana says, "I am directing a film which is a biopic. I can't talk about it. There is a girl (in the film) and she is the main character. I would go to hunt for locations soon.. I would be going to Kathmandu"

When asked about 'Ab Tak Chhappan' Nana says,"If I get to direct, it will be my story and if I get to do everything then I'll direct. Else there is lot of interference. I want to do it on my own."

Beside all this Nana would also like to venture into production on which he said, "There are certain kind of films you want to do. I am coming up with my production house. My son will be producing the films. We would be making serious kind of films."

In 1991 'Prahar: The Final Attack' starred Dimple Kapadia, Madhuri Dixit, Habib Tanveer and Gautam Joglekar was Nana's first directorial film.

Onward Nana said, "I would not be part of every film that he (his son) would produce. You cast as per your requirement whether it does well or not, is not my concern I have been acting till now... Earning money so now you make money. I don't guide him.Today's kids do things what they want to do it."
