Now, we hear that she will be seen as leading actress in The Lunch Box director Ritesh Batra's next. Currently Batra is busy with his British drama, The Sense of an Ending, based on Julian Barnes' Booker Prize-winning novel by the same name in. He has recently approached Alia Bhatt with the idea of his next film. As for the yet untitled venture, the film is expected to commence shooting next and will be a slice-of-life love story narrated from a young girl's perspective.
