Firstly it was informed that Raghuleela Infrastructure, a firm in which Vivek Oberoi is a partner, would be investing Rs. 200 crore in developing a themed resort and township in Gujarat state. Just we hear that the firm has since cleared dammed on doubling its investment to Rs. 400 crore after the Gujarat state government declared it's new tourism policy.
Vivek Oberoi also met the Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel and Tourism Minister Saurabh Patel and take a permission of developing the 'Royal Beach City-The Goa' resort and township near Ganeshpura village on Vataman-Dholka highway, 45 kms from Ahmedabad, Commenting on the same, Vivek Oberoi stated that the new tourism police by the Gujarat state government boosted their confidence to invest more.
Further adding that as a businessman, no other state is having such a favorable tourism policy, and wished that other states adopt it as well.
While the project that will be spread over 100 acres, and offer 25 enjoyingfull activities with an artificial beach to give a feeling of Goa's city seashore complete with artificial waves, and also a golf course will take some years to complete, within a year the club house will be operational.
