Amrita Rao to make TV debut with show Meri Awaaz Hi Pehchaan Hai

Amirta Rao, who made her Bollywood debut with Ab Ke Baras has appeared in Hindi films of Bollywood as well as a few films in Telugu. But, from a little time she was staying away from the silver screen and now, we hear that she is all set to make debut on TV.

According to sources, Amirta will be seen in the fiction show 'Meri Awaaz Hi Pehchaan Hai'. Produced by Nivedita Basu, this show is a finite series revolving around the nitty-gritties of the music industry. In fact, Deepti Naval will play the elder version of Amrita. Nivedita also revealed that she has been in discussion with Vikas Gupta, the programming head of GEC who will be airing the show.

Apart from this, Amirta is well known for her roles in films like Ishq Vishk, Main Hoon Na and Vivah.

However, more details about the show are yet to be revealed, but we hear that the show will be shot in real locations. Interestingly, two years ago, Amrita Rao's sister Preetika Rao made her debut with the popular show on Colors titled 'Beintehaa'.
